Mr Mæland has served as Chief Operating Officer since January 2017. Since joining joined DeepOcean in 2007 Mr Mæland has held various senior positions as Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Asset Director, Senior Project Engineer and served as Lead Engineer and Project Manager for PRS and Kittiwake. His prior experience includes seven years at Norsk Hydro, including four years in R&D as Senior Project Engineer and three years in process management. Mr. Mæland holds a Master of Science in material technology and a business economist degree from the Norwegian School of Management.
