Michael Willi has been Group Head of Communications for Novartis since 2014. He is responsible for managing the Novartis worldwide Communications function across geographical and divisional boundaries, including brand and reputation management, corporate communications and product communications. Prior to joining Novartis, Mr. Willi spent more than 20 years at UBS AG. He held positions of increasing responsibility in corporate and brand communications in both Switzerland and the United States. Mr. Willi served as the chief communications officer for UBS from 2008 to 2013. Mr. Willi graduated with a degree in economics from the University of Basel in Switzerland.
