Dr. Michael Kimball serves as a Gastroenterology Consultant for Big Island Gastroenterology, providing services in consultative gastroenterology. With his extensive knowledge and experience in quality of care management and improvement, Dr. Kimball also acts as Medical Director for Big Island Endoscopy Center, LLC.
Dr. Kimball is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Kimball is one of the early members of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He has served as Chief of staff and Head of the Department of Medicine and Head of Department of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy at the Scripps Memorial Hospital, Encinitas, California.
