Dr. John L. Ryan, MD, Ph.D has been the Chief Medical Officer and Executive Vice President of Kadmon Holdings, Inc. (Alternate Name: Kadmon Pharmaceuticals LLC) since 2011. Since 1998, he served as Senior Vice President of Clinical Research & Development and assumed leadership of the Oncology and Infectious Disease therapeutic areas as well as the CR&D group. Dr. Ryan served as an Executive Director of Clinical Research at Merck Research Laboratories. Dr. Ryan spent five years at Merck & Co. as Executive Director of Infectious Disease. He serves as a Director of Globavir Biosciences, Inc. He served as the Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board at Cerulean Pharma Inc. since May 2011. He serves as a Member of Scientific Advisory Board at Expression Analysis, Inc. Dr. Ryan served as a Member of Scientific Advisory Board of Arqule Inc. From 1977 to 1989, he served as a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Pennsylvania School of Medicine and Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Ryan received his Bachelor degree from Yale University. He holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics from Yale University and an MD from the University of California at San Diego. Dr. John L.
