Jim graduated from University College Cork in 1984 as a commerce graduate and completed an MSc in Management Practice in UCD in 1995. He has decades of experience from a long career with Glanbia that began in 1984, during which he has held numerous senior positions, including Finance Director Agribusiness and subsequently Group Business Process Director. He joined the Ingredients business as Operations Manager in May 2003 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of GII in 2005. He is also a Director of the Irish Dairy Board and former Chairman of the Irish Dairy Industry Association.
