Dr. Rossert joined Thrasos in November 2013 from Amgen, where he served as Executive Medical Director working in Clinical Development in the Nephrology and Metabolic therapeutic area. In this role, he worked on various clinical studies, including large outcome studies, and was involved in multiple interactions with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and European Medicines Agency (EMA). Previously, Dr. Rossert was Professor of Nephrology at Paris University and Assistance Publique Hopitaux de Paris, and Senior Scientist at INSERM. His research interests included the mechanisms of progression and consequences of chronic kidney diseases. Dr. Rossert is an author of more than 100 scientific publications. He has been a member of the editorial boards of the Journal of the American Society of Nephrology and Nephrology Dialysis Transplantation, and is a former member of the Board of Directors of Kidney Disease
