Research Intrest

Veterinary drugs and pesticides are examples of substances used in food production to control diseases and pests and to regulate growth. Medicines and pesticides must be approved before they may be used to avoid unacceptable risk to the consumer. The research group for residual content has as core activity to develop and validate quantitative analytical methods for drug and pesticide residues in food, feed and other biological matrices. The methods are used in the national monitoring programs carried out by the Danish Food Agency and in the research projects in which the group participates.
