Jennifer Hay is presently the Director of Applications Development at Nanomechanics, Inc. Prior to joining NMI in January, 2015, Jennifer held the designation of ‘Expert Scientist’ at Agilent Technologies. She received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston and has worked in nano-indentation since 1996, advancing standardization while also developing methodology for new applications including thin films, anelastic metals, polymers, gels, and biomaterials. Mrs. Hay currently serves as the vice-president for the MEMS/Nanomechanics technical division of the Society of Experimental Mechanics (SEM). She has authored a number of journal articles on nano-indentation, including an invited feature series in the SEM journal Experimental Techniques.
