Gerd Zettlmeissl has been working in various R&D and General Management positions in the biopharmaceutical and vaccine industry since 1985. During his career, he made major contributions to the discovery, development and registration of a number of biologicals and vaccines.He currently serves as Non-Executive Director of Aeras, a non-profit organization developing tuberculosis vaccines, and of various biotech companies.Gerd is holding a doctoral degree in biochemistry of the University of Regensburg and did a post-doctoral fellowship at the Institut Pasteur Paris in virology between 1983 and 1985.
