He is a CEO of Premier Medical Group, is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, and is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastroenterology. He attended medical school at The Rohtak Medical School in India. He moved to New York where he completed his internship, residency, and fellowship in gastroenterology at New York Medical College. He is proficient in all endoscopic procedures with a special interest in Crohn’s Disease and ulcerative colitis.
Dr. Khurana has also been a member of the VBMC Board since 2003. In the community, he has served as a member of both the Board of Trustees for the United Way of Dutchess County, the Community Foundation of Dutchess County, and currently serves on the board of Premier Cares Foundation. In 1991, Dr. Khurana was chosen as VBMC Physician of the Year; just one year after this prestigious program was initiated.
