Dr. Mike Dobesh, co-owner of Smith Veterinary Hospital, grew up on a small farm in eastern Nebraska. After high school, he worked on a large cattle ranch in north central Colorado. Thanks to the influence of a few special pets, Mike developed a true fondness for companion animals during veterinary school. He received his DVM from Colorado State University in 1990 and says that he could never imagine doing anything else!
