Mr. Declan Smyth has been President of Advanced Surgical and Orthopaedics at Integer Holdings Corporation since October 2015. Mr. Smyth is responsible for driving profitable growth for the Advanced Surgical & Orthopaedics product category. He served as the President of Advanced Surgical Business at Accellent Inc. He served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Advanced Surgical Group of Accellent, Inc. He was responsible for Manufacturing, Engineering, Marketing and Sales for the Advanced Surgical Segment. He is advanced Surgical comprised of the endoscopy, laparoscopy, arthroscopy, general surgery, orthopaedics, spinal, women’s health, portable medical and drug delivery markets. He joined Lake Region Medical in 2001 and held the position of President of Advanced Surgical Business. He joined Accellent in August, 2001 as a senior manufacturing engineer and held a number of engineering leadership roles of increasing scope and responsibility during his first ten years with Accellent. In 2012 his role was Senior Director, Strategic Product Leader for the Ortho, cutting and piercing business within Advanced Surgical. He has significant knowledge of business in areas including engineering/technology, operations and commercial. Mr. Smyth has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Harvard University.
