Chuck Thyne is responsible for the quality of all Genzyme products manufactured around the world. He leads a global organization consisting of approximately 900 employees across 8 industrial sites, responsible for overseeing manufacturing quality and release of product from Genzyme’s Rare Disease and MS portfolios as well as Sanofi’s Biosurgery franchise. Chuck has oversight of corporate quality functions that support the biologics and biosurgery manufacturing networks, including groups such as Validation, Risk Management, Documentation and Quality Systems
