Dr. Carlo Incerti, MD, serves as the Head of Global Medical Affairs and Senior Vice President at Genzyme Corporation and he is also the Chair of the European Association for Bioindustries. Within Genzyme, Dr. Incerti is responsible for Global Medical Affairs, which includes Global Regulatory Affairs and Compliance, Evidence Value Development / Health Outcomes, Global Patient Safety and Risk Management, and Medical Operations. He served as Senior Vice President at Genzyme Corporation and also served as Head of Global Market Access, Head of Research & Development Europe and LATAM, Senior Vice President, Biomedical and Regulatory Affairs Europe and Medical Director, Europe. Dr. Incerti served as the Chairman, Board of Directors of Genzyme Srl in Italy and Genzyme Europe BV in The Netherlands. He was a Staff member and associate professor, Department of Endocrinology of Modena University Hospital in Italy. He is a board-certified endocrinologist. Dr. Incerti holds M.D. from University of Modena.
