Andy progressed through training, sales management, National Sales Manager and Business Unit Director roles. Andy was the National Sales Manager at the launch of Lipitor in the UK and also designed and implemented the Heart Matters programme which remains the largest ever nurse driven pharmaceutical initiative in the UK. Andy became Managing Director of Takeda UK in 2000 and under his leadership Takeda UK became the fastest growing top 50 UK company for 36 consecutive months from 2001 to 2004. Andy was instrumental in leading a patient focussed re-design of the UK sales team which resulted in the Regional Account Director model being implemented in 2004. After 5 years at Takeda, Andy joined Virgin Health Bank as CEO. Andy has continued to deliver successful change in organisations looking to improve the way they engage with the NHS.
