Mr. Apter joins Burisma after a 27-year career in investment banking; including management positions at Merrill Lynch, Renaissance Capital, Troika Dialog and Morgan Stanley. For much of his career Mr. Apter has worked in Eastern Europe – including Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and the Balkans. Prior to investment banking, Mr. Apter was a corporate lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell. Mr. Apter has a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law (1982).
