Biography

Professor Qiang Chang pursued his Ph.D. from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in year (2000),further he did his Postdoctoral Research from Whitehead Institute, Cambridge, MA At present he is working as a Associate professor in Department of Medical Genetics and Neurology. His Research Interests includes- DNA methylation-dependent epigenetic regulation of brain functions and Research Fields includes- Disease Biology, Development, Neuro & Behavioral Genetics, Human, mouse & rat Professor Chang also published many articles which includes- Cell cycle-linked MeCP2 phosphorylation modulates adult neurogenesis involving the Notch signaling pathway. Mutant astrocytes differentiated from Rett syndrome patients-specific iPSCs have adverse effects on wild-type neurons. Human Molecular Genetics
