Biography

Michael J. Martin is Assistant Professor in department of Agriculture and Resource Economics at Colorado State University from 2013. He has been awarded from Team Research Award from the College of Agricultural Sciences 2 and outstanding professor recognition from AGR fraternity at Colorado State University in 2017. In particular, he has examined how agricultural education traditions and practices can encourage and/or discourage urban student interest and engagement in agricultural education. My future research will also focus on the outcomes of agricultural literacy programs. 

Research Intrest

Michael J. Martin research has focused on role and influence of culture in agricultural education. My recent work has investigated models of agricultural education for urban schools students.
