Biography

Dr. Michael A. Finan joined MCI in 2005 after serving as chairman of the Cancer Committee at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans. He was named interin director of MCI in 2014 and director in May 2015. Dr. Finan specializes in a variety of cancers affecting women including cervical, vaginal, endometrial, vulvar, fallopian tube and ovarian cancer, as well as gestational trophoblastic neoplasia. Dr. Finan was the first gynecologist in Mobile to perform robotic surgery with the DaVinci Robotic Surgery System, and is listed in the most recent Top Doctors directory issued by U.S. News and World Report.
