Biography

Matt Ringer oversees NREL’s portfolio of science and engineering research completed on behalf of the Department of Energy’s Advanced Manufacturing Office (AMO).  In this role, he ensures that NREL researchers and engineers working on AMO projects provide high quality and groundbreaking results to our clients.  NREL’s almost $8 million research budget from AMO is focused on advanced composites, roll-to-roll manufacturing, supply chain and process analysis, and materials development and validation. He also has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at San Diego, and an MBA in Strategy from the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business.
