Dr. Jixiang Guo is a Professor at the Research Institute of Enhanced Oil Recovery of China University of Petroleum-Beijing. In 2004, Dr. Guo obtained her PhD degree in Chemical Engineering and Technology from China University of Petroleum-Beijing. Her research interest includes enhanced oil recovery, oilfield chemistry and colloid and interface chemistry, the main directions: (1) chemical flooding enhanced oil recovery technology; (2) viscosity decreasing technique of heavy oil and wellbore plugging technology; (3) produced fluids treatment. As the chief expert in charge of the 863 Program (National High-tech R&D Program of China)” Key technology of wellbore viscosity reduction in ultra-deep-heavy oil reservoir ”, Dr Guo also undertakes a number of national projects, such as National Program on Key Basic Research Project of China (973 Program), National Key Technology R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Key Technology Support Program of China during the “11th Five-Year Plan” and “12th Five-Year Plan” .
