Biography

GUO,Zijian after completing graduation and post-doc training in Italy and UK, he returned to China and was appointed Professor of Chemistry in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Nanjing University. He was then served as the director of the State Key Lab of Coordination Chemistry and the dean of the School of Chemistry. He is the recipient of Young Investigator Award of the National Science Foundation of China, and the Cheung Kong Professor of the Ministry of Education. He serves in the editorial (advisory) board for Chem. Soc. Rev., Inorg. Chem., Dalton Trans., Chem. Lett., etc. His research interest focusses on design of anticancer metal complexes with novel structural features and reactivities as well as conjugation of platinum drugs with selective targeting moieties or encapsulation of platinum drugs in host molecules or particles to achieve enhanced permeability and retention effect in tumour tissues.

Research Intrest

design of anticancer metal complexes, fluorescent sensors development
