Georg Kirchsteiger holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Vienna. Before he moved to Brussels in 2004, he worked at the University of Vienna, at the CentER in Tilburg, and at the University of Maastricht. In 2000 he received the Hicks-Tinbergen Medal of the EEA (with E. Fehr and A. Riedl). Currently, he is co-editor of the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization. He has published in leading economic journals like Econometrica, Quarterly Journal of Economics, and Review of Economic Studies.
His research interests are in the fields of behavioral economics, experimental economics, game theory, and industrial economics.
