Biography

Dr. P. Thiruchenthil Nathan is the Associate Professor of the Department of zoology at Periyar University. His Area of Specialisation is Zoological conservation. He completed research projects in DBT- Postdoctoral Fellowship: Biodiversity of fruit bats in southern Western ghats and their role in pollination August 2002 to July 2004.He is Life member in Ethological Society of India; Chiroptera Conservation and Information Network of South Asia (CCINSA); Indian Society of Chronobiology; Indian society for Bio control and Indian Science Congress.
