Leon Ardekian , D.D.S. graduated from the University of Athens Dental School, Greece . He went on to complete a General Practice Residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Haim Sheba Medical Center in Tel-Hashomer. Between 1989 and 1995 Dr. Ardekian served as a Senior Surgeon in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Rambam Medical Center, Haifa, Israel. In 1997 ,Dr. Ardekian was a Visiting Surgeon in the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, Vienna, Austria. Between 2001-2003 Dr.Ardekian was a Clinical and research fellow, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA, USA. Between 2003 and 2005 he served as President of the Israeli Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery; and Between 2002 and 2003 as a Vice-President of the Mediterranean Association of Oral Implantology. Between 2004 and 2013 Dr. Ardekian was a faculty in the European Sialendoscopy training Center, Geneva, Switzerland. From 2005 until now Dr. Ardekian is a member of the Editorial board if the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Ardekain published over 60 articles in the medical and Dental literature. Dr. Ardekian speaks nationally as well as internationally on a variety of topics such as Oral Implantology, Salivary Gland and digital medicine.
