C.Selvaraj is the Professor and head of the Department of Mathematics at Periyar University. He pursued his M.Sc., in St. John’s College, Palayamkottai, M.K University, Madurai in the year 1985 and M.Phil., in St. John’s College, Palayamkottai, M.K University, Madurai, in the year December 1988 and awarded Ph.D., in Ramanunjuan Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics, University of Madras in the year January 18, 2000.. His Area of Specialisation : Representation Theory and Ring Theory.
