In 2014/15 I served as an expert panel member for Sheffield Hallam University for NMC Review of their BSc Nursing Undergraduate Programme. I have previously served as an external examiner for at Manchester University and Ulster University. I currently serve as external examiner for the MSc Programme Mental Health, Recovery and Social Inclusion at Hertfordshire University.
My research and publication broadly relate to identity, participative citizenship, exclusion and professional issues around health practice. I have specific interests in mental health and ethnicity. Current projects include revisiting Heron and the concept of patient centeredness.
