Biography

Dr. Chuck Wimpee is working as the Associate Professor in the department of Microbiology in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Milwaukee. he has completed his Postdoctoral Fellow from Brookhaven National Laboratory, PhD from University of California and MS from University of Georgia.

Research Intrest

Dr. Chuck Wimpee focused on Bacterial bioluminescence, light-generating capability on bacteria, evolution and the regulation of the lux operon, comparative studies of lux gene organization and expression, seasonal fluctuations and geographical distribution of bioluminescnet bacteria, genotypic and phenotypic diversity, DNA fingerprinting and gene sequencing and environmental microbiology
