Biography

Professor Brent Hueth pursued his B.S.in Economics from University of Oregon in 1989 and further done his Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from University of Maryland at College Park in 1998.At present he is working as a Associate professor in Agricultural and Applied Economics, University of Wisconsin-Madison.Professor Brent Hueth is the Director of the UW Center for Cooperatives, and focus much of his research on understanding the productivity and impact of all types of cooperatives across the country. In addition,he is doing research to understand the role of agriculture in the economy, and how it affects the economy beyond the farm, through biotech, input supply markets and more.He also worked with WiscRDC to help estimate the impact of investment in university research.
