Boyun Guo completed his PhD at the age of 33 years from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and postdoctoral studies from the same university in 1995. He is the director of Center for Optimization of Petroleum Systems of the Energy Institute in the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He has published more than 60 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member and associate editor of sevral journals including JPSE, JNGSE, and JSEE.
