Universiti Malaysia Sabah or UMS was established by his Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on November 24, 1994. It is the ninth Malaysian public university located in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. UMS has achieved academic excellence through its high quality research based learning programs. Its attention towards the other activities like publications, and social services has supported the university to gain international recognition. The university also focuses on the personal growth of its students, which has in greater productivity and innovative ideas.
